Bio: Jens Bjornkjaer is a Danish composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist living between Los Angeles and Copenhagen. Of recent highlights he has scored Ai Weiwei’s 2020 documentary Vivos premiering at Sundance Film Festival. Lars Von Trier’ Cannes Film Festival, Palme d’Or nominated - Melancholia. In 2022 he co-scored the Finish, Cannes Film Festival - Gan Foundation price winner - The woodcutter Story and in 2019 he co- scored the documentary ‘Markie in Milwaukee’, receiving an honorable mention at the 2019 Slamdance. In 2022 he scored the Louis Theroux produced documentary -
Tell Them You Love Me for SKY UK.
He has composed for the Royal Danish Theatre, been nominated for a Danish Oscar for the 2021 documentary 7 Years Of Lukas Graham. And has done collaborative work with Ai Weiwei for the 2023 Allen Ginsburg ‘The Fall of America’ anniversary release.

His band O Future alongside South African singer and visual artist Katherine Mills Rymer, mixes electronics with voice and Symphony Orchestra, and have since 2013 released a number of audio- and visual-works including 3 Albums, 2 Ep’s, 4 algorithmic operas 100’s of visual 3D, 2D, and video artworks and have amongst others exhibited in galleries in Berlin, Milano, Paris, Copenhagen, Seoul and online.
